What We Collect
NotifyLARP collects the minimum data needed to deliver notifications to your device:
- Push subscription endpoint — a URL generated by your browser that allows us to send notifications to your device. This is stored in our database so we can deliver the notifications you schedule.
- Channel name — the app identity name you choose (e.g. "Security Alert"), stored alongside your subscription to route notifications correctly.
- Uploaded icons — custom app icons you upload are stored in Firebase Storage and linked to your session.
- Anonymous authentication — we use Firebase Anonymous Auth to create a session. No email, password, or personal information is required for the free tier.
Pro Users
If you upgrade to Pro via Whop, we additionally store:
- Your Whop user ID and email address (provided by Whop during OAuth)
- Your membership status (active/inactive)
This data is used solely to verify your Pro membership and remove the watermark.
Local Storage
We use your browser's localStorage to save your preferences (chosen app name, icon, panel states, saved schedules). This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers unless needed to deliver a notification.
Third-Party Services
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
- We do not use cookies.
Data Deletion
To delete your data, clear your browser's site data for notifylarp.com. This removes your push subscription and local preferences. If you are a Pro user and want your account data removed from our database, email lukas@notifylarp.com and we will delete it within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
